About Bob
I am a member of Kiwanis International and am active in the Union City Kiwanis club. I am a past president of the Union City Club and served 3 years as Lt. Governor for Division 1A of the Louisiana, Mississippi, West Tennessee District. Kiwanis is a global organization dedicated to changing the world, one child, and one community at a time.
I have a 27' Catalina sailboat that I keep at Kentucky Dam Marina, about 60 miles from home. I enjoy cruising on the lake, anchoring in a cove, and spending the night. Don't get to go as much as I would like.
I am a member of the First United Methodist Church in Union City and have held numerous offices in the church. I served as lay leader for the Dyersburg District of the Memphis Conference for 7 years. I am also a certified lay speaker and fill in for pastors when needed. I teach the Character Builders Sunday School Class on the 2nd Sunday of each month, and have been doing this since 1980.
I am an automobile enthusiast and enjoy reading all the auto magazines. I have enjoyed working on cars since I was a teenager (back when you could actually work on them). I have owned several older cars but now only have a 1957 Lincoln and a 1957 Ford pickup. I found collecting the die cast models to be a lot cheaper than the real ones. I have about 60 die cast models, mostly Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint.
I enjoy working with computers, web sites, and the Internet. I created and maintain this website and have also created and maintained several other websites over the years.
I also enjoy playing my keyboard, guitar, harmonicas, and singing. We have a group that meets every Monday night at Sharon, Tennessee, to pick and grin. Click on the link below to hear my songs.

Riding my bicycle is relaxing and fun for me. I ride it to work and church when weather is permitting. I also work out at the gym at Healthquest at least 3 times a week.
